Basil Moreau: Essential Writings is an anthology of both published and unpublished writings of Blessed Basil Moreau, C.S.C., founder of the Congregation of the Holy Cross (in turn founders of the University of Notre Dame in 1842).
To honor the launch of this book, Rev. Kevin Grove will be joined by Monsignor Mark Langham (Cambridge University Catholic Chaplaincy) and Sister Ann Swailes, OP (Cambridge University Catholic Chaplaincy and Blackfriars Oxford) for a panel discussion about Basil Moreau. During the discussion they will examine the impact that Moreau had on the worldwide Church.
Fr. Kevin received his undergraduate degrees from the Seattle University and went on to obtain a Master of Divinity degree from the University of Notre Dame. After being ordained a priest in the Congregation of Holy Cross in 2010, he served for two years in parishes around South Bend. He is currently studying for his PhD in Philosophical Theology at the University of Cambridge. He is a Gates Cambridge Scholar as well as Assistant Chaplain at Cambridge University Catholic Chaplaincy.
A reception will follow the talk and books will be available to buy.
Registration is required by Friday, November 21, 2014.
