Norbert Pletka

Norbert Pletka joined Notre Dame London as a Caretaker at Fischer Hall in 2010. He was promoted to Conway Hall Building Manager in 2017 and then London Facilities Manager in 2020. As a Facilities Manager for the London Buildings (Fischer Hall & Conway Hall), Norbert Pletka leads a team of Facilities Staff, Cleaning Operatives and Security personals. Norbert is responsible for the operation and maintenance of building systems and services, involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises, ensuring buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation.

Pletka graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering and holds several Health and Safety qualifications, including NEBOSH, Fire Safety and Risk management.

Born in Hungary, Pletka has lived in England for most of his adult life in England. In his time off, Pletka enjoys taking part in all sorts of outdoor activities with his family.
