Global Dome

Each summer, the London Global Gateway hosts the Global Dome Exchange Program: an intensive seminar designed to accelerate dissertation progress and build international networks of young scholars in the humanities field. The program facilitates conversations between interdisciplinary graduate students and guest faculty from the University of Notre Dame, University of Oxford, King’s College London and University of Edinburgh. Over the three weeks, in daily workshop sessions, the students present and discuss early chapters from their dissertations, and garner feedback from their fellow participants.

Chatham House Nominated Members

The London Global Gateway is an Academic Institutional Member of The Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House, located a five minute walk from Fischer Hall. Each academic year, faculty members can apply to the Gateway to become a nominated member of the institute for a fixed time period. This membership will give faculty access to research conducted at the institute, the Chatham House library, and many of their high profile events. Access can also be arranged for undergraduate and graduate research.
