Notre Dame, Durham University announce new seed grant to deepen research collaborations

The University of Notre Dame (ND) and Durham University (DU) in the UK are launching a pilot program to deepen research collaboration and to support joint initiatives that lead to external research funds for both partners. The ND-DU Seed Grant Program is jointly funded and is now accepting applications.

Notre Dame International and Notre Dame Research are partnering to support this joint initiative with Durham University. All disciplines are encouraged to apply, particularly those with research interest in climate change, solar energy, and tropical diseases.

Funding up to $27,000 will be available for joint research projects between 12 months to 24 months duration. The ND-DU Seed Grant projects can run anytime during the period from May 2022 to May 2024.
