Matthew Humphreys MBA

Academic Activities and Research Interests
Humphreys is head of Kingston Law School, Kingston University. For 2013-2014 he is also acting dean of the faculty of business and law at Kingston. His research field is European environmental law, regeneration and social justice, including dispute resolution and mediation. He is interested in all aspects of environmental law and is currently working on those aspects of sustainability that work as a general principle.

Academic Activities and Research Interests

Lauriat is a lecturer in Law at King’s College London.  She is also a research fellow at the Oxford Intellectual Property Research Centre (OIPRC) and an academic fellow of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.  Her research and teaching are broadly concerned with intellectual property law.  In particular, she is interested in the history of copyright, the relationship between political ideologies and views on intellectual property, and the influence of creators on legal developments. 


Katherine Reece-Thomas

Academic Activities and Research Interests

Reece-Thomas is associate professor of law at City University London.  She has worked as a solicitor in the City of London and in Paris, and taught in the University of Cambridge.  She has practiced in New York and is a member of the New York State Bar.  Her research interests include public international law and company law.  She is co-author of The Law and Practice of Shareholders' Agreements. She is an expert on the law of state immunity.
