Rupert Goold delivers the 14th Annual Notre Dame London Shakespeare Lecture

The 14th Annual Notre Dame London Shakespeare Lecture in Honour of Professor Sir Stanley Wells was delivered on 25th February, 2025 at Notre Dame London by Rupert Goold (CBE).
Goold, who is for known his work as the Artistic Director of the Almeida Theatre and two-time Olivier Award-winning director of such stage productions as Hamlet, Cold War, Spring Awakening, The 47th and Dear England as well as work for film and television, is highly regarded for his directorial reinvention of Shakespeare's greatest works. He was awarded a CBE for his services to drama in 2017. Goold delivered insights into his process as a director and devotee of Shakespeare in his 2025 lecture ‘Shakespeare’s scenes—the good, the bad and the ugly’.
