This photo gallery highlights some of the valuable interactions and experiences Notre Dame faculty, staff, and students have taken part in over the past month.

The selection was curated by Notre Dame Global staff working on campus and in the University's 12 global locations.

Santiago

A choir in blue robes sings in a dimly lit church, led by a conductor in white vestments. A crucifix hangs on the wall behind them, and the audience sits in rows of chairs on the floor below.

For the first time in its history, the Notre Dame Liturgical Choir visited Latin America. The choir performed several concerts in Santiago throughout the week, with its most significant concert taking place at Parroquia de la Veracruz, a parish church that experienced significant fire damage in 2019. This concert was part of the “Sacred Music Events” organized by the Institute of Music at Notre Dame's longtime partner, UC Chile.

São Paulo

Notre Dame Global and Undergraduate Admissions joined forces to host events for 43 newly admitted Brazilian students and their families in São Paulo, Goiânia, and Rio de Janeiro. Thaïs Burmeister de Campos Pires, director of Notre Dame São Paulo, also welcomed Notre Dame’s Vice President for Admissions, Micki Kidder, who traveled from the US to personally congratulate admitted students and experience a bit of Brazil for herself. Mexico

Migration Week in Mexico, held in early March in Puebla and Mexico City, brought together academic discussions, cultural experiences, and community visits to explore migration from multiple perspectives. This year marked the fifth edition of the collaboration between Notre Dame Mexico and Eva Dziadula, teaching professor in the Department of Economics. A group of five students from Professor Dziadula’s Economics of Migration class and six students from the Puebla study abroad program participated in the events during their spring break, engaging with local communities and experts. Highlights included visits to migrant shelters, historical sites, and the “Mexico as a Migration Origin, Destination, and Transit Route” conference at Tecnológico de Monterrey, ultimately fostering dialogue on migration’s social and economic impact, and reflecting on key insights and opportunities for future research collaboration.

Dublin

The evening included remarks from the British Ambassador to Ireland, Paul Johnston, documentary director Ruán Magan, and a live musical performance from the film’s score by composer Natasa Paulberg.
