Join us at Fischer Hall on Wednesday, 2 March, 2016, for the Annual London Shakespeare Lecture in Honor of Stanley Wells, CBE.

This year’s lecture, entitled “Shakespeare, Performance and Contingency,” will be presented by Lois Potter, professor emeritus of University of Delaware.

Potter’s extensive list of publications includes Othello (in the University of Manchester’s Shakespeare in Performance series), Which Shakespeare? and The Life of William Shakespeare,as part of Wiley-Blackwell’s Critical Biography series. She has also reviewed countless plays and edited a range of other Shakespeare-related publications. Potter retired in 2008 as Ned B. Allen Professor of English.
