Kevin Barnes

Kevin Barnes joined the Notre Dame London team in 2014, and was appointed associate director of residence life of Conway Hall in 2021. In this role, Barnes provides pastoral leadership and supports student well-being, seeking to ensure that Notre Dame’s student residence in London becomes an environment of flourishing community which encourages individual intellectual and spiritual formation. He organizes various activities and initiatives to enrich student experiences, including cultural programming within and beyond his native London.

Before joining Notre Dame, Barnes worked as a speechwriter. He holds an MLitt in History from the University of St Andrews. He is particularly interested in literature and philosophy, and teaches a Psychogeography class in the London Undergraduate Program. He spends most of his free time in the reveries of the solitary walker, playing soccer, or reading Ancient Greek.
